Here's all you need to know...

The Hindu Makkal Katchi (HMK) staged protests outside the office of the channel Vijay TV. The channel airs Kamal Haasan's TV show Bigg Boss (Tamil), which seems to have run into trouble with the fringe outfit (HMK). The members of the outfit protested against Tamil Bigg Boss, saying that it's against Tamil culture and shouted slogans against the channel and Haasan, who hosts the show.

A report on news18.com quoted the State Coordinator of HMK - Senthil as saying, "Even cinema has censorship but this show airs what happens inside four walls. It's indecent. How can they do this? We will oppose anyone who hosts the show. Kamal Hassan is hosting the show so we are opposed to him."

The report further suggests that a complaint has been filed against HAasan and the contestants. The HMK has also demanded a ban on Tamil Bigg Boss, alleging that it denigrates Tamil culture. In the complaint, HMK stated that Haasan claims to be working for the betterment of the Tamils but what is being aired in the reality show is against Tamil culture.

Those who're unversed, the same fringe outfit had previously filed a complaint against the show last year, when it's first season premiered in July. They had sought legal action against Kamal Haasan and the contestants back then too. Last year's complaint stated that Bigg Boss Tamil ridiculed the "Invocation to Tamil mother", as per HMK.
