On the work front, Varun recently had also spoken about his show in an interview talking about his character Amber’s state of mind while getting married in Mere Brother Ki Dulhan.

He had said, "A marriage between two people can be a roller coaster ride. It’s beautiful that you share your life with your most loved person, but it comes with its own set of responsibilities. For the wedding sequence in Mere Dad Ki Dulhan, I didn't have to prepare much. I just went with the flow of the character. After a point, I felt as anxious as Amber (laughs). But, in the larger scheme of things, the thought of spending your life with your loved one overshadows all other factors."
