Rupali Ganguly, who is the leading actor of the hit series Anupamaa is tested positive for COVID-19. She took to her Instagram page and wrote about it while even apologised to everyone after being diagnosed with coronavirus. Rupali posted a photo of herself wherein she is seen sitting on a scooter and showing a distressed face. The actor wrote, "MA Corona Devi! Tu hai ki nahiiiii (mild to asymptomatic) Yeh kya hua kaise hua kab hua. Jab hua tab hua .... chhodo ye na poocho."
Rupali also wrote, "This is the kind of positive I didn’t want to be. Take care and stay safe everyone and keep showering ur love on my family and the Anupamaa family. Sorry for letting u and Rudransh down @ashwinkverma and the entire unit down @rajan.shahi.543 despite u taking all the precautions - pata nahi kahan se kaise ho gaya... Meanwhile, her co-star Sudhanshu Pandey who plays Vanraj in Anupamaa shared photos with Rupali and wrote, "Anupamaa taking Vanraj for a ride with a very positive attitude... Being positive may not be the best thing to happen always but I guess one should stay positive always. Here’s wishing @rupaliganguly a very speedy recovery. Jai Mahakaal."
Rupali has been playing the titular role in Anupamaa since 2020 and has been winning hearts for her performance.
