Salman Khan is all set to be back on TV with Dus Ka Dum after 9 years...

Finally! The wait is over and Salman Khan is all set to bring to you the next season of his game show Dus Ka Dum after a gap of nine years. Dus Ka Dum season 3, which premieres tonight will once again binge on the very famous question “Kitne pratishat bhartiye...?” from the horse’s (read host’s) mouth.

The show that runs on probabilities and approximations is much like its host Salman Khan’s life. Dus Ka Dum expects the participants to estimate the nearest percentage range of a survey poll in order to bag the prize money.

Questions orbit around social, psychological and even personal or professional preferences of the masses. The bhartiye janta after a dedicated and long wait shall be able to play the game alongside the
superstar after passing a simple, but analytical selection process. The process involves answering questions on the Sony LIV app in either ‘YES’ or ‘NO’. Naturally, the participants with highest score shall
be seen on the show.

The popular, entertaining game show, mostly high on spirit will also see celebrities betting on their observation skills. Apart from the newsness that the show offers while shortlisting contestants, the rounds that follow, in itself have a bare, but fresh take on the concept.

Interestingly, the first round (knockout round) is called ‘5 ka Punch’. Second round ’10 Guna Dum’ shall multiply the first round winning contestant’s earnings 10 times, while the final round ‘Super Sawal’ will
prove to be nothing less than a jackpot as the contestant shall earn 10 times the amount won in the second round. However, wrong answer in this round will leave the participant with a mearge 10 per cent
of the amount won in the second round.

And who did the producers think had ‘Dum’ to host the show? None other than Salman Khan. Sony Pictures India CEO N.P Singh during the nine years break never pondered over getting a new host. As
quoted by The Indian Express, he said, “Not at all. We were adamant that we wanted only salman for this show.”
