Salman Khan wrapped up the 14th season of the controversial reality show 'Bigg Boss' but as a surprise to his fans, piquing their curiosity, Salman also revealed details about the upcoming 'Bigg Boss 15' and revealed that everyone can audition for the next season.
Salman said, "A few months later, VOOT SELECT will allow everyone to audition for the next season, Bigg Boss 15. And, the best part is that you get to vote for the participants. More details will be revealed later."
Salman also closed the grand finale episode saying, "We will meet soon in six-seven months, with the next season."
For the uninformed, the general public first participated in the reality show 'Bigg Boss' in its 10th season in 2016. The winner of the season was Manveer Gujjar. However, the contestants at the time were not entirely new to the industry. Most of them were participants of reality shows and regional shows, much less known on a national level.
In season 11, the makers had a blend of "commoners" and celebrities as contestants.
As for 'Bigg Boss 14', Rubina Dilaik, who had participated along with her husband Abhinav Shukla, won the show. Rahul Vaidya was declared the runner-up. Other finalists of the 14th season were Aly Goni, Rakhi Sawant, and Nikki Tamboli.
After her win, Rubina told IANS, "I had always prayed that I would reach the finale because my only mantra was that I want to touch everyone's heart by living honestly. Winning the trophy was about 'kismat ka khel', I had left it to destiny but when I meet the hard work it is the most beautiful thing that can ever happen."
Interestingly, Rubina was the only contestant who completed a stay of almost five months in the Salman Khan show.
