Union Minister and former TV star Smriti Irani got nostalgic and tears started rolling down her cheeks when she visited her first ever house in Gurugram after 35 years.
Promoting TV producer and close friend Ekta Kapoor's upcoming web series Home, Irani went to visit her first ever abode in Gurugram. The content czarina shared the video of Irani's emotional journey through the memory lane.

Upon her visit, Irani found out that the house they lived in, all those years ago, was turned into a dry cleaners' shop. The reality seemed to hit the minister and she broke down after realising there is no 'home' anymore. But the sadness turned into a reason to smile when neighbours reminded her that they are always there for her.
Irani was then showed reminiscing about her days in the neighbourhood and telling the stories to the new generation. She also visited the old ration shop and her favourite chaat shop in her former locality.

Irani and Kapoor gave India one of the iconic television show -- Kyunkii Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. This is where their friendship started and the duo has stuck together since.
Home featuring Supriya Pilgaonkar, Amol Parashar, Parikshit Sahni, Annu Kapoor, Himani Shivpuri and others will stream on ALT Balaji from September 21.
