'Space Force' new trailer: Steve Carell as leader of US Armed Forces new branch eyes for moon

The makers of 'Space Force' unveiled the new trailer of the Netflix comedy show.

The new trailer for Netflix original show, Space Force is out. Starring Steve Carell in the lead role as the leader of Space Force and is brought by the makers of his hit show The Office. The actor-producer plays the role of Mark R Naird and becomes the head of the newly-formed sixth branch of the US Armed Forces: the titular Space Force. The earlier trailer had glimpses of Steve's character from the show, The Office.

The new trailer has Mark making suddenly activating a space mission by just chilling with the legs up on the controllers. He then asks for an apology but then made the head of the branch. We also see his wife played by Lisa Kudrow and a teenage daughter who is proud of her father. We see Mark (Steve) facing many hindrances during the task force of making to space but he overcomes with his cute smile.

Created by Steve and Greg Daniels, the show's description read as "A decorated pilot with dreams of running the Air Force, four-star Gen. Mark. R. Naird is thrown for a loop when he finds himself tapped to lead the newly formed sixth branch of the U.S. Armed Forces: Space Force. Sceptical but dedicated, Mark uproots his family and moves to a remote base in Colorado where he and a colourful team of scientists and 'Spacemen' are tasked by the White House with getting American boots on the moon (again) in a hurry and achieving total space dominance."

It is set to be streamed on May 29, 2020.
