The Kapil Sharma Show is surrounded by controversy after Navjot Singh Sidhu's remarks on Pulwama terror attack. Former cricketer was immediately sacked from the show post his statement. Soon after that, the host of TKKS, Kapil Sharma supported Sidhu by saying that sacking him won't solve any issue. This statement did not go well with many and it led to people on social media trend 'Boycott Kapil Sharma'. However, nothing has been confirmed about the fate of The Kapil Sharma Show now.
Amidst all controversies, it's being reported that comedian-actor Sunil Grover will finally be returning to The Kapil Sharma Show soon. But there's a twist in the tale! Reports have it, Grover is set to be a part of the episode along with Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif. He will be appearing on the hit show for the promotions of their upcoming film, Bharat.
When Sunil was earlier asked about being a part of The Kapil Sharma Show, he shared about his conversation with Salman on the same. Grover said to a media agency, "Salman sir is producing The Kapil Sharma Show. My own dates would have clashed (with Kapil's show) as I am doing Bharat with Salman sir. This show (Kanpur Wale Khuranas) that I am doing for Star Plus fitted in the window that I had."
Sunil further said, "But he (Salman) did speak to me briefly about it (bringing two of us together). We had a very casual chat about it but nothing much."
Talking about Bharat, the film is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and is slated to release on June 5, 2019.
