The much-loved and one of the longest-running shows on Television, 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah', is back on Television. While the show has brought relief to many fans, a few others have been missing the humour in the show before the lockdown.

Jethalal (played by Dilip Joshi) from 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah' had become a famous meme with his dialogue 'Aye Bandh Kar Bandh Kar'. The same meme is used for the new episode which was aired. Meanwhile, others shared images from the show and wrote about how much they missed it.

Take a look:

Most people were not pleased with the monotonous and demeaning jokes around the character Popatlal's constant Romeo behaviour. A few of these fans missed the humour in the show, and even wrote to producer Asit Kumar Modi on it.

However, it would still be early to judge the show. Even when it first aired, 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah', inspired by late Taarak Mehta's column 'Duniya Ne Undha Chashma', which featured in teh Gujarati weekly magazine 'Chitralekha'.
