The YouTuber happened to watch a few of Ekta's older shows like Kasamh Se and his comments seemed to have irked Ekta...

Ekta Kapoor, known as the queen of Indian TV soap operas is grabbing the limelight for blasting a Swedish YouTuber - PewDiePie on Twitter. The YouTuber, whose real name is Felix Arvid Ulf Kjellberg, recently shared a video titled, You India You Lose in which he mocked the overly dramatized introduction scenes of some of the popular Indian TV shows, including Ekta Kapoor's old show Kasamh Se.

The YouTuber happened to watch a few scenes from Kasamh Se and was bowled over by the editing of the show. Not just that, he also mocked Rajinikanth's Robot after watching a scene from the film. Looks like this left Ekta mighty upset who took to her Twitter account to blast PewDiePie in a series of tweets.

In one of her tweets, Ekta mentioned that the YouTuber looked like one of the foreigners whom they hire as junior artists from Colaba for shooting purposes and that PewDiePie may find one of his lookalikes on her show itself.

As soon as she shared the tweets, the producer started getting slammed on social media by the netizens. Some called her 'cringy' and 'immature' while others termed her as 'downright racist'. There were some who called out Ekta herself for her TV shows and mentioned that they did not get offended by PewDiePie's comments about Indian TV shows.

While the fans of the YouTuber have come to his defence and started trolling Ekta on Twitter, PewDiePie has not responded to any of Ekta's tweets as of now.

Turns out that Ekta too happened to read some of the comments and replied writing, "Just one thing anyone who suggests racial slur to my tweet( yes I read some tweets) shud open this youtubers( yes now I know who he is) video n see how he has trashed everything from Indian soaps to Indian superstars ( rajnikants robot) n jibbed back with d same ignorance" (sic).
