Television producer Vikas Gupta, best remembered for appearing on the reality TV show 'Bigg Boss 11', has shared how the conditions in his house changed once he opened up about being a bisexual.
Gupta said that his mother and brother had walked out on him after realizing that Vikas is attracted to both the genders.
Times of India noticed that Vikas Gupta's brother Siddharth hosted a grand party. While their mother was part of the bash, Vikas was nowhere to be seen.
It was then that the producer revealed that the TV personality revealed that his brother and mother had walked out when he opened up about being bisexual
"My brother Sid and my mother left my home some time ago, things had gone very bad after I disclosed my bisexuality to the world. My family finds it embarrassing to have me around them. They don't want to be seen with me," Vikas shared.
Siddharth, on the other hand, completely shunned the reporters and in turn questioned them how his party guest list could make news.
"How does what I do on my birthday make the news? This is my personal life and why am I being questioned about this," he said.
Siddharth's party was celebrated on Madh Island. Siddharth and Vikas' brother Vatan and a few of the birthday boy's friends were part of the grand celebrations. The party took place in times of COVID-19.
Siddharth and Vikas were never on good terms, but since the latter came out of the closet, the distance between the brothers only increased.
