US President Donald Trump administration has been shrinking day by day as the former reality TV star keeps firing them. The latest of the victims being Secretary of State Rex Tillerson. Saturday Night Live jumped on the opportunity to spoof the situation.
Former SNL member Bill Hader returned to host the show in order to promote his new show on HBO - Barry. For the cold opening of the show, CNN's Anderson Cooper (played by Alex Moffat) hosted Rex Tillerson (played by John Goodman), former White House Director of Communications, Anthony Scaramucci (Bill Hader), US Attorney General Jeff Sessions (played by Kate McKinnon) and Mike Wolff (Fred Armisen) who wrote the controversial tell-all book Fire and Fury.
Visibly rattled Tillerson broke a water glass because he was fired by someone who sold mail order stakes. Goodman's Tillerson says, "One day you’re CEO of Exxon, next day you get fired by a man who used to sell steaks in the mail."
“Call Jurassic Park, because the Rex-y is loose!”
Later in the episode, Hader reprised his widely popular character of Stefon and he also did his impressions to audition for Jurassic Park.
Next episode of Saturday Night Live will be hosted by Black Panther star Chadwick Boseman with Cardi B as musical guest.
