For sometime now, there has been speculation about Jimmy Sheirgill making his debut as TV show host with Savdhaan India. The actor had discussions with the makers and even had shot a bit for a pilot episode. However, the deal has fallen through and the channel has gone back to the original host Sushant Singh.
Says a source, “Initially, the makers were looking for a new face and they thought Jimmy would fit the bill. Negotiations were on for the longest time, but they found Jimmy’s price too high and had to let go of him.” Unlike the earlier seasons, which dealt with domestic abuse and extramarital affairs, this time the show will concentrate on new-age crimes. Sushant will start shooting for the show soon.
