But what if we say that you can buy a whole island within your budget? Well!! You will not believe it for sure and no one will. But it's true as a 22-acre budget-friendly island is on sale and it costs less than a 2BHK apartment.
Island for Rs 50 lakh
The 22-acre Scottish island is situated on the west coast of Scotland and is on sale for US $70,000 that is approximately Rs 51 lakh. The wildlife on the island gives a unique comfort to nature lovers. Also, the island is completely uninhabited and is located just 1.5 miles from Achiltibui where only about 300 people live.
According to The Daily Record, this sea island is also known as 'Carn Deas' and is rich in wildlife. It includes porpoises, dolphins, sharks and whales. As per a press release by Goldcrest Land and Forestry Group, the buyer of the island will be permitted to undertake activities like boating, scuba diving and snorkelling there.
A Goldcrest spokesperson told Insider about the deal and said that no construction work has taken place anywhere on the island. The island does not even have a small wooden cabin.
He further added, “The Summer Isles acquired that name because that was where the local crofters used to transport their sheep for the summer grazing.” As per Goldcrest's website, “the island is only accessible by a 25-minute boat trip from Old Dorney Harbor or Badentarbat Pier.”
