IndiGo crew member makes in-flight announcement in Bhojpuri, leaves netizens impressed - WATCH viral video

Most people do not pay attention to in-flight announcements when they are traveling by air. However, one announcement by a crew member on an IndiGo flight, which is currently going viral on Instagram, has caught the netizens' attention for its unique take. In the video which is being heavily shared on Twitter, the flight captain can be seen making an announcement in Bhojpuri, a language spoken predominantly in western Bihar, eastern Uttar Pradesh, and northwestern Jharkhand.
Netizens cannot seem to get enough of this video.
The video was recorded by a passenger and shows the flight captain welcoming all the passengers on board. Almost all in-flight announcements are done either in Hindi or English, however, the captain chose to speak to the passengers in Bhojpuri.
The captain, in the video, can be heard saying, "We, the Indigo family welcome you all. Captain Prateek is in the cockpit, Marsi...Sonika, Yashee, and Komal are in-charge of the crew."
The clip was shared by IAS officer Awanish Sharan on October 29 and it has close to 60,000 views on it. The video was captioned as, "अपनी भाषा बोलिए, पढ़िए, लिखिए और प्रोत्साहित कीजिए. (Speak, read, write, and encourage local languages). Nice gesture @IndiGo6E."
Netizens are also commenting on the video, praising the captain for his gesture that won people's hearts. One user wrote, "Pilot me kuchh to baat hai.. alag hi apnapan jhalak raha hai bhai ki awaz me (sic)," while another said, "Good. It's a boost to the diverse culture the country has! It will also decrease the shame that people Carry for languages while traveling. Well done."
