Apple’s announcement of the next-gen iPhone 13 range of smartphones has taken the internet by storm, quickly culminating into a meme fest due to the exorbitant price of the some of the models. Then came a frenzy on Twitter when several in India realised that Apple had used the tune of the famous Bollywood classic “Dum maro dum” at the launch event.
Next, it was time for Apple to be brutally trolled by netizens who were unable to spot much of a difference between the iPhone 12 and the newly launched iPhone 13 series. The iPhone 13 range is heavily based on the iPhone 12 line-up from last generation.
While the four variants, the iPhone 13, iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13 Pro, and iPhone 13 Pro Max, use a new chipset, there isn’t much of a novel design element this time. Unable to spot distinct features from the older iPhone, several netizens brutally trolled Apple with hilarious and witty tweets. In fact, even brands like Zomato got involved in the troll tornado.
