We have seen many examples of true love, one of them being our very own, the 'Taj Mahal' which portrays the true love of Shah Jahan for his wife Mumtaz Mahal. But true love still exists and this woman, Padmavathi from Andhra Pradesh has proved it by building a temple dedicated to her dead husband in the Prakasam district of the state.
The temple and the statue of her husband, Ankireddy is made out of marble. Prayers are offered on a daily basis and pujas are performed as well. According to a leading channel, Padmavathi and Ankireddy got married a few years ago but sadly, Ankireddy, the husband died in a tragic accident a few years after.
Devastated by his untimely death, Padmavathi remained upset and shattered for a few years but recently revealed that her husband appeared in her dreams and requested her to build a temple for him, which she did. She was able to build the temple by taking help from her husband’s friend Tirupathi Reddy and his son Shivashankar Reddy.

Since the temple was constructed, Padmavathi has been performing pujas every day and offers special prayers on the weekends and distributes food in the name of her husband. She had stated that when her husband was alive, she saw God in him.
Netizens are going crazy over this love story and have moved many hearts because it shows the wife's dedication and love towards her husband. Padmavathi's son, Shivashankar Reddy also said that he considers himself lucky to be born to parents who were so devoted to each other.
A few months ago, in a similar incident, a Karnataka based businessman ordered for a silicone wax statue of his late wife to be installed in his new home on the occasion of a housewarming ceremony. He wanted to make sure that his wife was present with him on the occasion.
