A viral video from Uttar Pradesh shows two women driving recklessly on NH9, with one woman lifting her hand off the steering wheel to dance while driving.

A dangerous trend of social media users performing life-threatening stunts has sparked concern, following the release of a new video from Uttar Pradesh. The video, which surfaced online, shows two women filming themselves while driving recklessly on NH9, the highway connecting Ghaziabad to Delhi.

The viral footage begins with a woman driving a Mahindra Thar SUV, while her companion is seated in the front passenger seat. The duo can be seen grooving and vibing to a song, with the driver lifting one hand off the steering wheel to dance. This reckless behavior has drawn significant criticism and concern.

Shared on X, the video was captioned, "She will die herself and risk others' lives! This is the reason for the accident!.... These are the pictures of National Highway NH 9... going from Ghaziabad to Delhi."

The video quickly caught the attention of the Uttar Pradesh Police, prompting them to direct the Ghaziabad Police to investigate the matter further.

Internet users were quick to express their disapproval. One user commented, "Because of such people, road accidents are increasing day by day." Another added, "Just because of them, the lives of others are in danger."

A third user highlighted broader concerns with reckless driving, stating, "There are many drivers on the road like this, talking over the phone, responding to WhatsApp and slowing down in the extreme right lane, hopping lanes, obstructing two lanes, pressure honking."
