A video showing a man dressed as Spiderman clinging to the bonnet of a car on Delhi's Dwarka road has gained significant attention, ultimately leading to his arrest. According to ANI, the individual in the Spiderman costume has been identified as Aditya, a 20-year-old resident of Najafgarh. The driver of the vehicle, identified as Gaurav Singh, 19, from Mahavir Enclave, is also facing legal consequences.

Both Aditya and Gaurav have been prosecuted for multiple offenses, including dangerous driving, driving without a pollution certificate, and not wearing a seatbelt. The penalties for these violations could include a maximum fine of Rs. 26,000, imprisonment, or both.

The Delhi Traffic Police acted swiftly after the video went viral on social media, addressing the situation promptly to ensure that such reckless behavior does not go unchecked.

This incident comes months after another video in the national capital showed a young couple performing dangerous stunts on a bike, dressed as Spiderman and Spiderwoman. The couple, seen riding a Pulsar in superhero costumes, were apprehended and faced charges for driving without a helmet, license, and displaying a number plate.

"Two persons were riding a bike and wearing Spiderman costumes. An inquiry into the matter was conducted and the riders have been booked under different sections of the Motor Vehicle (MV) Act for offenses without a helmet, without a mirror, without a license, dangerous driving, and not displaying a number plate," a senior police officer told PTI.
