Budget 2024: Free electricity up to 300 units for these recipients

 Before the general elections, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman unveiled the final budget of Modi government 2.0.

The budget included significant announcements by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, aimed at providing relief to the common man.

Electricity, generated from solar panels installed on houses, was highlighted as a key initiative in the budget.

Nirmala Sitharaman revealed plans to construct an additional 2 crore houses in rural areas over the next 5 years under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.

Asha sisters were announced to be beneficiaries of the Ayushman Scheme, according to the Finance Minister.

A corpus fund of Rs 1 lakh crore was proposed, intended to provide debt-free loans to youth for a period of up to 50 years.

Lakhpati Didi's threshold was raised from Rs 2 crore to Rs 3 crore, impacting the lives of 9 crore women, as mentioned by Sitharaman.

These budget measures were presented as part of the government's strategy in the lead-up to the general elections.
