7th Pay Commission DA hike update

The Union Cabinet is scheduled to hold a crucial meet on March 22.

After the meeting, govt is likely to announce a hike in the dearness allowance, according to reports.

The Centre is expected to announce a 4% DA hike for central govt employees 

At present, they are getting a 38% DA. After the fresh hike, employees will get 42% DA.

Last time, a DA hike was announced by the central government on September 28, 2022.

The Centre revises DA twice a year, once in January and second time in July.
