In pics: Bill Gates' multi-million dollar mansion with 60-ft pool, 2,300 sq ft hall

Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates bought the 66,000 sq feet plot in Washington in 1988 for just $2 million.

He spent another $63 million to build one of the most impressive homes, Xanadu 2.0.  

It is constructed in a cost-effective and eco-friendly way. The Gates Estate has 24 bathrooms in total and 7 bedrooms.

It has a 60-foot pool with fossil-motif floor. Gates has brought in technology under the pool with an underwater music system.
