Several states announced summer holidays for their schools due to the soaring temperatures across the nation.

Additionally, several institutions have declared breaks for their pupils since the academic session has come to a conclusion with term-end exams. Find out which state has given students the most time off over the summer.

For  primary, intermediate, and upper secondary schools in the state of Maharashtra, the summer break has been started from April 21 till June 15.

The Uttar Pradesh government has declared a 40-day summer break for all students from May 21 to June 20. It stated that the school department will give separate notice if there are any changes.

 The summer break for learners has been moved up, according to the West Bengal administration, because of the state's soaring heat. Originally scheduled to begin on May 24, the vacation will instead begin on May 2 owing to heatwaves.

From May 1 to June 15, schools in Madhya Pradesh will be closed for the summer. Whereas, Jharkhand government has declared a summer break for students from May 21 to June 10

Due to the heat wave, the Odisha government announced summer break for children in grades 1 through 12 from May 5 to June 18.
