Dulquer Salmaan celebrates his 40th birthday on Friday, July 28. On his special day, here's a look at seven of his best films.

Dulquer as Faizal aka Faizi wants to become a chef and works as a cook in his grandfather's small restaurant named Ustad Hotel in the 2012 Malayalam slice-of-life film titled Ustad Hotel.

The coming-of-age romantic comedy-drama Bangalore Days can easily be dubbed as the K3G of the Malayalam industry as this 2014 film features the biggest stars such as Nivin Pauly, Fahadh Faasil, Nazriya Nazim, and Parvathy, along with Dulquer.

The 2015 movie O Kadhal Kanmani, directed by Mani Ratnam, is considered one of the best romantic films in Tamil cinema. Nithya Menen and Dulquer Salmaan's lovely chemistry plus A R Rahman's music are the two major highlights of OK Kanmani.

Based on the wanted criminal Sukumara Kurup, the 2021 crime thriller Kurup earned more than Rs 100 crore becoming one of the highest-grossing Malayalam films of all time. Dulquer was hugely appreciated for his brilliant performance.

The period romantic drama Sita Ramam pairs Dulquer Salmaan with Mrunal Thakur and their chemistry was widely loved in this Telugu film released in 2022. The film has been dubbed as a modern-day romantic classic.

Dulquer Salmaan made his Bollywood debut in the 2018 road comedy-drama film Karwaan which also starred the late Irrfan Khan and Mithila Palkar of Little Things fame. The film received positive reviews from audiences and critics.

In the 2022 crime thriller Chup: Revenge of the Artist, Dulquer Salmaan received acclaim for his brilliant performance as a serial killer who targets film critics. The film also featured Sunny Deol, Pooja Bhatt, and Shreya Dhanwanthary.
