As per reports, Kareena Kapoor Khan was originally signed for Kal Ho Naa Ho (2003) but was replaced by Preity Zinta due to salary issues.

Salman Khan was set to star in Chak De! India (2007) but was replaced by Shah Rukh Khan due to unknown reasons.

Karan Johar dropped Kartik Aaryan from his film.

Aamir Khan was initially cast in Darr (1993) but later replaced by Shah Rukh Khan due to creative differences.
