Why Govinda disappeared from Bollywood, reveals producer Tinu Verma

Hero No. 1 actor Govinda, who once ruled Bollywood, suddenly disappeared from the film industry. Producer and director Tinu Verma, in an interview, revealed why Govinda disappeared from the Hindi film industry.

Tinu said that Govinda himself is the reason as he was not punctual. Narrating one of the incidents, Tinu said a part of the 1998 film Achanak was to be shot but that could not happen for a long time. The reason for this was Govinda because he did not come on time.

Tinu also mentioned that Govinda was provided with a hotel room so that he could reach on time for the shoot at 11 am, but despite this, he did not turn up for the shoot the next day. It was 4 in the evening when Tinu Verma reached Marine Drive and saw a huge crowd standing outside a college.

When Tinu reached that college, he saw that Govinda was giving a performance there. As soon as Govinda saw Tinu, he started hiding his face.

Further in the interview, Tinu Verma said that because of this habit, he was thrown out of the film industry. At one point, all the producers who used to line up to get Govinda in their films boycotted him.
