Meet Bigg Boss OTT 2 contestant Avinash Sachdev; actor who had to sell his car, home to survive

The charming man won the hearts of Indian television audiences with his impressive acting chops in series such as Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil (2008) and Choti Bahu (2008)

Before television, Avinash won pageants such as Mr Baroda, Mr Gujarat, and Mr University. He has even assisted Farhan Akhtar in Rock On!

During COVID-19 Avinash has faced major financial setbacks. His condition was so worst that he had to sell his personal assets.  

After venturing into films and television, Avinash opened a restaurant. However, due to the pandemic, the joint was shut down within a year and a half. Avinash took heavy loans to set up his restaurant, and to payback, he had to sell his house and car. 

In an interview, he said, "I took a hit financially. I had to sell my car, my house, and all my saving were gone. Mentally I wasn't able to handle the situation. I even had anxiety attacks."

Reportedly, Avinash is currently staying in a rented home.

Avinash has also been unlucky in love. Reportedly, he dated Rubina Dilaik and broke up in 2013. He got married to Shamlee Desai in 2015 and got separated in 2017. He even dated Palak Purswani for few years, and they broke up.
