Prostate cancer is a serious disease that begins in gland cells of the prostate, only found in males.
Prostate produces the seminal fluid that nourishes and transports sperm.
Urologists say most people with prostate cancer don’t have any signs or symptoms, but there are some changes you may notice:
Slow urine flow: If you are experiencing this, it’s good to get your prostate checked.
Blood in urine: It is a possible warning sign of prostate cancer.
Prostate pain: An early sign of prostate cancer is unexplained pain in the area of your prostate.
Need to urinate frequently: If you feel a frequent and sometimes urgent need to urinate, it may be a sign of prostate cancer.
Burning urination: It is mostly associated with urinary tract infections, but it might be a sign of prostate cancer.
Bowel control: If you’re experiencing an inability to control your bowel movements, consult with a doctor about prostate cancer.
