Where is gallbladder located in the human body? Gallbladder is a small pear shaped organ which is located on the right side of your abdomen, just beneath the liver. The gallbladder holds digestive fluid called bile that is released into your small intestine.

What are gallstones? Gallstones, also called cholelithiasis are hardened deposits of bile that form in your gallbladder. Too much gallstone formation can lead to life-threatening conditions and you may have to undergo a surgery.
