Side-effects of eating oranges

Oranges are a good source of vitamin C and several other vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. However, eating too many oranges can have side effects.

Eating 4-5 oranges a day can cause stomach upset, cramping, diarrhea, bloating, and nausea.

Excessive vitamin C can cause heartburn, headache, vomiting.

Eating too many orages may also cause insomnia.

Oranges are high in potassium, and too much consumption can be detrimental for the functioning of the kidneys. 

Sensitive people may experience allergic reactions after eating oranges, such as sleepiness and yellowing of the skin of arms or legs.
