With the successful landing of the Lander Module of ISRO’s third lunar mission Chandrayaan-3, India has reached the Moon! It has also became the first country to land near the Moon’s south pole.

In the process, India became the first country among the elite group to have its rover on the moon's south pole region, which the Indian Space Research Organisation believes could have traces of water.

Chandrayaan has not just landed on the moon's land. In fact, the dream of 140 crore Indians has come to the ground of reality. Let us remember the astronauts who made it to space.
