The Tulip Garden in Srinagar was officially opened to the public on Sunday by Jammu and Kashmir's Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, and visitors may start coming in on Monday.

Srinagar's Tulip Garden is the biggest tulip garden in Asia, spanning 52 hectares of gorgeous terrain at the base of the Zabarwan Mountains and close to the shores of Dal Lake.

There has been a significant increase in the number of visitors visiting Jammu and Kashmir this year, with 4.70 lakh people coming to the Union Territory in the first two months alone.

In addition to the traditional yellow, red, crimson, purple, and white tulips, this year's yield will also have orange, pink, blue, and green varieties.
