Visiting India for the annual India-Japan summit with PM Modi, the Japanese PM is on a two-day visit.
Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida visited Delhi's Buddha Jayanti Park with PM Narendra Modi and tasted Indian dishes like gol-gappe and lassi.
Japanese PM Kishida also invited PM Modi to the G7 summit in May at a meeting they had at Hyderabad House.
PM Kishida called India a "indispensable partner" and said it was a joy to announce his new vision for a free and open Indo-Pacific on Indian soil.
