The divorce rate in India has seen a rise in recent times. However, it varies from state to state.
Here are some of the states with the highest and lowest divorce rates.
Maharastra tops the chart with 18.7% divorce rate.
Karnataka (11.7%)
Uttar Pradesh (8.8%)
West Bengal (8.2%)
Delhi (7.7%)
Tamil Nadu (7.1%)
While, Telangana, with 6.7% is among the states with a lower divorce rate.
Kerala with 6.3% divorce rates is also one with the lowest figures.
