Jewer International Airport
The Noida International Airport also known as the Jewer International Airport is a major project undertaken by the government and is likely to begin its operations towards the end of 2024.
Shivamogga Airport
The Shivamogga Airport is a domestic project majorly serving the city of Shivamogga in Karnataka. The airport is built under public-private partnership with the Karnataka government. It was inaugurated on 27 February and is expected to start its commercial services by 2023 end.
Navi Mumbai International Airport
Navi Mumbai International Aiport, also known as D.B. Patil International Airport has been budgeted to serve as an alternative airport for Mumbai, 25 kms from Navi Mumbai. The airport is expected to be operational by 2023 end.
Manohar International Airport, Goa
After Dabolim Airport, Manohar International Airport was the second airport to be started in Goa, serving North Goa and the nearby districts of Karnataka and Maharashtra .
Purandar Airport, Pune
Officially known as the Chhatrapati Sambhaji Raje International Airport is a new airport to serve the city of Pune, Maharashtra. The airport is likely to begin its operation in February 2024.
Dhalbhumgarh Airport, Jamshedpur
The airport is a domestic project undertaken by the government of Jharkhand to start in the city of Jamshedpur. It will be built on the former World War 2 era airfield in Dhalbhumgarh.
Chennai Greenfield International Airport
The airport is an upcoming project which is under the partnership of Tamil Nadu Industrial development Corporation and Airports Authority of India. The airport will be built near Parandur of Kanchipuram district, Tamil Nadu. The airport is reported to be functional by 2028.
