Delhi faced hazardous air quality levels on Monday morning. with several areas recording Air Quality Index (AQI) above 1,500 due to toxic smog

 Data from IQAir and CPCB indicated the air quality in Delhi ranged between 'hazardous' and 'severe-plus' levels.

Prompting the activation of Stage 4 of the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP). Mundka recorded the worst AQI at 1,591, followed by Dwarka-Sector 8 (1,497) and Rohini (1,427).

The pollution led to reduced visibility and affected daily life. Delhi Airport implemented low visibility protocols.

Advising passengers to check flight statuses. Schools were instructed to suspend physical classes for students up to grade 9 and for grades 11.

 Authorities are taking urgent measures to tackle the crisis, but the situation remains critical.
