Bangladesh PM Sheikh Hasina resigned and flees from her country leaving a nation wide uproar.

 Sheikh Hasina married  Dr. M A Wazed Miahon  November 17, 1967. 

Born on February 16, 1942, in Laldighee Fatehpur village, Rangpur, Dr. Wazed Miah was an exemplary student.

He joined the Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission on April 9, 1963, and pursued further studies, obtaining a diploma from Imperial College London and a Ph.D. in physics from Durham University, UK.

 Dr. Wazed was engaged in international research, including a project at the International Theoretical Physics Research Centre in Italy and post-doctoral research at Daresbury Laboratory in Washington DC, USA.

After completing his research abroad, Dr. Wazed returned to Bangladesh and worked at the Atomic Energy Research Centre in Dhaka. He later rejoined the Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission and retired as its Chairman in 1999.

Dr. Wazed married Sheikh Hasina on November 17, 1967. They have two children, Sajeeb Wazed Joy and Saima Wazed Putul. 

 Dr. Wazed passed away on May 9, 2009, and was laid to rest with full state honors in his family graveyard in Laldighee Fatehpur village.
