6 foods to avoid eating with curd

Curd also known as yoghurt, is a dairy product made by fermenting milk and has various health benefits. It is rich in minerals including calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, and vitamin B12. 

It also has probiotics, which are beneficial bacteria that promote gut health and immune system functioning. 

However, some foods should be avoided with curd to prevent stomach problems and skin concerns.

1. Fish

One should avoid eating curd with fish, as they both are loaded with protein. When animal protein is combined with veg protein, then it can cause stomach-related problems.

2. Oily foods

When the curd is combined with oily foods such as paratha, bhatura or puri, it reduces the rate of digestion process and leads to lethargy. 

3. Mango

Mango has a hot nature while the curd is a coolant, when you combine them, it can cause an imbalance in the digestion process and can trigger skin issues.

4. Onion

Onion is also hot and when it is combined with curd, it can cause skin allergies like rashes, eczema, and psoriasis.

5. Milk

Consuming milk and curd together can cause issues like acidity, heartburn and even bloating in your body as both are high in fat and protein.

6.Urad dal 

Eating urad dal with curd can upset the digestive system and cause indigestion, diarrhoea, and bloating.
