Lahori chicken is a spicy and flavourful dish from Lahore, Pakistan.
To make the spicier and flavorful Lahori Kadhai Chicken, follow these steps:
Heat oil or ghee in a kadhai, giving it a richer flavor.
Add jeera and let it splutter, followed by sauteing onions until they turn brownish.
Introduce tomatoes, ginger-garlic paste, and hari mirch (green chilies) to the kadhai. Cook for a few minutes.
Add all the masalas - haldi (turmeric), chili powder, garam masala, coriander powder, and salt. Mix them well.
Place the chicken pieces into the kadhai and ensure they are coated nicely with the spices.
Let it cook partially, then add dahi (yogurt) and allow it to simmer on low heat for about 7-8 minutes.
Garnish the dish with kasuri methi (dried fenugreek leaves) and fresh coriander leaves and your Lahori-style kadhai chicken is ready.
