These are fatty deposits that can develop around the eyes, elbows, knees, or other areas of the body.

Yellowish bumps on the skin

High cholesterol can lead to atherosclerosis, which narrows the arteries and reduces blood flow to the extremities. This can cause sensations of tingling, numbness, or weakness in the hands, feet, arms, or legs.

Tingling or numbness

Some studies have suggested a link between high cholesterol levels and cognitive impairment. Men with untreated high LDL cholesterol may experience difficulties with memory, concentration, or other cognitive functions.

Memory problems

Reduced blood flow due to atherosclerosis can lead to decreased oxygen delivery to tissues and muscles, resulting in fatigue that persists despite adequate rest.

Chronic fatigue

Restricted blood flow to the brain due to narrowed arteries can cause frequent headaches or migraines in men with high LDL cholesterol.

Recurrent headaches

High cholesterol levels can contribute to the formation of gallstones, which may lead to symptoms such as abdominal pain, bloating, nausea, or vomiting.

Digestive issues

Atherosclerosis can affect blood flow to the penis, resulting in difficulty achieving or maintaining an erection.

Erectile dysfunction

Some men with high cholesterol levels may experience muscle weakness or pain, particularly during physical activity, due to a condition called statin-induced myopathy.

Muscle weakness or pain

High cholesterol levels may be associated with sleep disorders such as sleep apnea, which can lead to symptoms like loud snoring, interrupted breathing during sleep, and daytime sleepiness.
