Millet vs Wheat: Which is healthier and better for weight loss?

Millet is one of the oldest grains and is a nutritious whole grain, rich in fibre, protein, vitamins, and minerals.

In comparison to wheat, Millet is much higher in nutrient density, and healthier. While, Wheat contains more carbohydrates than millet and it also provides more calories per serving.

Millet contains dietary fibre, which increases feelings of fullness after eating, making it better than wheat.

Millet also contains more vitamins A, B6, C, E, and K than wheat does.

Also, millet has a higher protein than grains like rice and wheat. 

It has a lower glycemic index which means it causes less of an insulin spike, unlike other grains like wheat.

Also, it is gluten-free making it an ideal choice for those with gluten sensitivity who cannot consume wheat products.

Millet also contains higher amounts of essential fatty acids than wheat, which makes it an excellent source of healthy fats.
