Most people are already aware of Sachin's flawless career and impeccable journey. But not many people are aware of his love story with Anjali Tendulkar. So, let's take a look at Master Blaster's love story.
Sachin and Anjali first met at the airport in 1990 when the former was returning to India after participating in his first international tour.
After that the duo again met at a common friend's place and that is when they got to know each other.
Anjali was excellent at studies and had little interest in cricket. But while dating, she slowly started getting to know Sachin and the sport in which the champion batter was taking giant strides.
In an interview, Anjali had said that Sachin fell in love with her because she did not know much about cricket.
The first time Sachin wanted me to come to his house, he was a little hesitant. So he came up with this plan that he will tell people at his home that I was a journalist.
Anjali also revealed that she used to write letters to Sachin during their early days of dating.
After dating for five years, Sachin and Anjali tied the knot on May 24, 1995.
