Not only young adults, but teenagers are also facing issues with prematurely greying hair which has affected their confidence and triggered anxiety.

Teens are looking for every possible and available solution to reverse grey hair. After using expensive hair care products, they cannot get rid of the grey hair.

Ideally, the notable signs of greying begin in the 30s and 40s, and full greying occurs around 50 years of age. Premature hair greying in teenagers has become a burning concern.

It is believed that certain genetic and psychological stress contribute to premature grey hair in young people. Experts say that vitamins also play a crucial role in the overall health of hair.

While genetic factors play the biggest role in premature greying, experts added that the deficiency of Vitamin B12 is also a contributing factor.

Deficiency of B12 leads to undernourished hair follicles. It further hinders the growth of healthy blood cells, resulting in premature greying.

Vitamin B12 deficiency also causes hair loss.  Those facing premature hair greying should get their levels checked.

Teenagers should eat Vitamin B 12-rich foods like dairy products, red meat, seaweed, eggs etc. to prevent premature hair greying.

Along with Vitamin B12, teenagers should also focus on improving Vitamin D levels in the body to prevent the occurrence of grey hair.
