What is ideal TDS level for RO water?

It's important to be aware of the TDS (total dissolved solids) levels in the water you drink, whether it's RO water or tap water.

Both high and low TDS levels can impact health. According to WHO, the TDS of drinking water should ideally be less than 300 mg.

Water with a TDS level above 900 should be avoided altogether.

It's important to not set the TDS of RO water below 100. Some RO sellers try to make the water taste better, but this process can strip essential minerals from the water.

This mineral loss can negatively impact bone health, leading to joint and muscle pain over time.

Ideally, aim to maintain the TDS level of water at around 350.

It's recommended to have the TDS of RO water checked every 6 to 8 months to ensure it's within the desired range.
