World's 11 most religious countries

Israel: Israel, where Judaism is followed, is seen as the most religious country in the world, according to survey data tied to US News' 2023 Best Countries rankings.

Saudi Arabia: Saudi Arabia defines itself as a sovereign Arab Islamic state with Islam as its official religion.

India: Hindus make up 79.8% of India's population and Muslims account for 14.2%; Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists and Jains account for most of the remaining 6%.

Iran: The constitution defines the country as an Islamic republic and specifies Twelver Ja'afari Shia Islam as the official state religion.

United Arab Emirates: Islam is the official religion of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Qatar: Islam is the official religion, and Qataris are largely Sunni Muslims.

Egypt90% of the population is Sunni Muslim and 10% is Christian. 

 Jordan: More than 92% of Jordanians are Muslims and approximately 8% are Christians. 

Lebanon: According to the latest global estimations, 61% of Lebanon's population identifies as Muslim while 33.7% identify as Christian.

Oman: The vast majority of Omanis are Muslims and, while most of them belong to the Ibadi school, there are also Sunnis and Sh'ias.

Turkey: Islam is the most practiced religion in Turkey. As much as 90% of the population follows Sunni Islam.
