The T20 World Cup 2024, which will be co-hosted by USA and West Indies is set to commence from June 2, 2024.

Ahead of the marquee tournament, here are the batters who scored most runs in each edition of the T20 World Cup.

Matthew Hayden (Australia) -  265 runs in the 2007 edition

Tillakaratne Dilshan (Sri Lanka) -  317 runs in the 2009 edition

Mahela Jayawardene (Sri Lanka) -  302 runs in the 2010 edition

Shane Watson (Australia) -  249 runs in the 2012 edition

Virat Kohli (Australia) - 319 runs in the 2014 edition

Tamim Iqbal (Bangladesh) - 295 runs in the 2016 edition

Babar Azam (Pakistan) - 303 runs in the 2021 edition

Virat Kohli (India) - 319 runs in the 2022 edition
