The extravagant wedding celebrations of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant, which recently took place were graced by the presence of numerous Bollywood celebrities, cricketers, and international dignitaries.
Cricketers such as MS Dhoni, Hardik Pandya, Ishan Kishan, Jasprit Bumrah, KL Rahul, Yuzvendra Chahal, and several others were extended invitations to the wedding ceremony.
Gautam Gambhir, the recently appointed head coach of Team India, was also in attendance at the lavish wedding event.
Since many cricketers were invited to Anant Ambani's wedding, two cricketers were missing from the event, Team India skipper Rohit Sharma and star batter Virat Kohli.
Rohit Sharma plays for Mumbai Indians, which is owned by Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance group.
It is possible that Rohit Sharma was invited to the lavish wedding festivities of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant, as he was seen attending the sangeet ceremony of the newlywed couple.
Following the grand victory in the T20 World Cup 2024, Rohit Sharma and his family celebrated at Anant and Radhika's sangeet ceremony in Mumbai. Subsequently, they departed for a holiday in London.
Rohit was recently seen at Wimbledon, where he attended the semifinal match between Carlos Alcaraz and Daniil Medvedev at Centre Court.
Apart from Rohit, Virat Kohli and his wife Anushka Sharma were notably absent from Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's wedding.
According to reports, the couple is currently in London following India's victory at the T20 World Cup.
