Today is Day 2 of the first Test between India and South Africa and KL Rahul emerged out to be a star performer for the Rohit Sharma-led side in Centurion.

Batting at 95 runs, KL Rahul on Gerald Coetzee's delivery smashed a six to race to his eighth Test ton.

With KL's crucial ton, India managed to reach 245 runs against the strong bowling unit of South Africa.

However, Rahul's ton is a memorable moment for India as he becomes the first visiting batter to score multiple hundreds (2 times) in Centurion.

He has also added himself in the list of scoring hundred more than once in Boxing Day Test. He had scored 123 runs against South Africa in 2021. And two year after, he recreates the moment with scoring 101 runs vs South Africa today.

Before KL Rahul, Sachin Tendulkar was the first batter to hit two centuries in the Boxing Day Test. The first ton was marked against New Zealand in 1998, where he scored 113 runs in Wellington. During the 1999 Boxing Day Test, Sachin smashed 116 runs against Australia in Melbourne.
