Indian coaches to win ICC finals

Rahul Dravid achieved the dreams of a billion fans by guiding India to victory in the T20 World Cup 2024.

Dravid achieved remarkable success for the team, guiding them to the semifinals of the T20 World Cup 2022, the final of the ODI World Cup 2023, and the WTC final.

Dravid's three-year stint as the head coach of the Indian team concluded with India's victorious campaign in the T20 World Cup in June.

Duncan Fletcher served as the coach of the Indian cricket team during their triumphant victory over England in the 2013 ICC Champions Trophy final.

Gary Kirsten successfully led the team to victory in the 2011 ODI World Cup. India emerged triumphant over Sri Lanka in the final match.

Lalchand Rajput served as the Indian coach during the T20 World Cup in 2007, when India emerged victorious over Pakistan to claim the championship title.

In 1983, PR Mansingh served as the coach of the Indian cricket team. Against all odds, the team, led by Kapil Dev, emerged victorious as World Champions.

The BCCI has officially named Gautam Gambhir as the head coach of the Indian cricket team, a position he will hold until 2027.

Gambhir has been appointed as the Indian coach for five upcoming ICC events: the WTC 2023-2025, ICC Champions Trophy 2025, T20 World Cup 2026, ODI World Cup 2027, and WTC 2025-2027.
