Indian legends who never played T20 World Cup

Sachin Tendulkar, widely regarded as one of India's greatest cricket legends, notably did not participate in a T20 World Cup during his illustrious career.

Although Sachin did not participate in any T20 World Cup matches, he did compete in a total of six ODI World Cup tournaments. 

Sachin participated in the IPL from 2008 to 2013. Following his victory in the league in 2013, he decided to retire from T20 cricket.

Rahul Dravid did not participate in India's inaugural T20I match in 2006 and was not included in the T20I squad until 2011.

Dravid made his debut in T20I cricket during a one-off match, where he gained recognition for hitting Samit Patel with three consecutive sixes.

Although Rahul Dravid did not participate in a T20 World Cup, he was a key player in three ODI World Cups. Dravid retired from international cricket in 2012.

Sourav Ganguly, a senior player at the time, chose not to participate in the 2007 T20 World Cup. He made the decision to abstain from the shortest format of cricket.

Ganguly did not compete in a T20I World Cup, but he did participate in three ODI World Cups. He served as the captain of Team India in 2003, where they were defeated by Australia.

Laxman never participated in the T20 World Cup. He played for Deccan Chargers and Kochi Tuskers Kerala in the IPL.
